Costumed Guidelines
Costumes
Costumes must be worn as designed with all required accessories. If a costume becomes overly dirtied or damaged during a shift, cast members must report to their location's costuming facility to receive a fresh costume. If wearing their costume off property, cast members are required to remove their company issued name tag.
Shoes
Each location has their own requirement for shoes and socks. For all locations, however, a slip resistant shoe is recommended. Shoes must be a solid color with no extremely distinguishable logos or markings (Symbols such as the "N" in new balance shoes that match the color of the shoe and fit in with the pattern are acceptable).
Hair
For men, hair may not proceed beyond the ears or their shirt collar. Hair must be styled professionally with no bi-level styles. Women may not shave any part of their head. For both women and men, hair must be a natural color with no extreme hair styles. Highlights are welcome as long as they are not extreme and are well maintained, but ombre coloring is not permitted. Most Disney Look decisions are made on a case to case basis and dependent upon the authority judging the hairstyle.
Jewelry
Women are allowed to wear one earring in each ear as long as they are gold, silver, or match the costume. They must be simple and may not dangle below the earlobe.
